“As siblings, we discovered our love for storytelling early on- creating imaginary worlds and making films together. Every summer, we would gather a group of friends, make a movie, and screen it in our high school auditorium for the entire school. We didn't know what it all meant then, but we knew we felt the most joy when we were wrapped up in a story- something greater than ourselves. 

That shared love eventually led both of us to graduate from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts and, later, to SDG Pictures. The name was inspired by Bach, who would sign his musical scores with the initials SDG—Soli Deo Gloria, Latin for “Glory to God alone.” Over time, SDG has become less about being a traditional production company and more about what we stand for as filmmakers. It’s a reminder of why we create and how we want our films to be grounded in authenticity and love. 

That belief shapes the way we approach filmmaking. We care deeply about the stories we tell. For us, the greatest joy comes in those moments when a story becomes bigger than the people making it, when it leaves us with a sense of awe, wonder, or hope. We believe there is something sacred in those moments. Films can be God’s way of whispering to us. What a privilege, and what an honor, to be a part of that process.”
